TireMatter Terms and Conditions

Welcome to TireMatter, a proactive tire pressure monitoring  (TPMS) service that delivers real-time alerts and notifications regarding tire pressure, temperature, and related vehicle safety events. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TireMatter platform, SMS alerts, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Kehoe Group, Inc. dba TireMatter (“TireMatter,” “we,” “us”), a company organized under the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any updates posted on this page.

2. Description of Service

TireMatter provides automated notifications and alerts via SMS text message, email, and/or in-app messages regarding tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) events detected by Bluetooth-connected sensors. Examples of alerts include:

• Low tire pressure

• High tire temperature

• Critical low pressure + high temperature 

• Tire pressure imbalance

• Pressure oscillation patterns 

• Massive/rapid pressure loss

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on detected events and is not fixed. You may receive 0–20 messages per month depending on driving patterns and sensor activity.

3. SMS/Text Message Program – TireMatter TPMS Alerts

Program Name: TireMatter TPMS Alerts

Program Description: You will receive informational, non-marketing SMS notifications about real-time tire pressure and temperature events from your vehicle’s TPMS sensors.

How to Opt-In: You consent to receive messages by explicitly providing your mobile phone number during TireMatter account creation, vehicle registration, or device pairing in our web or mobile application, and affirmatively agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy (via checkbox or form submission). No pre-checked boxes or implied consent are used.

Message Frequency: Variable – alerts are sent only when events are detected. No fixed schedule or promotional messages.

Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. TireMatter is not responsible for any charges incurred.

Support Contact: For questions, reply “HELP” to any message, or email support at tirematter dot com.

Opt-Out Instructions: To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message confirming opt-out. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS alerts, and your phone number will be removed from our messaging list.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to agree to these Terms. The Service is intended for use in the United States and is governed by North Carolina law.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information during registration.

• Maintain secure control of your account and phone number.

• Use alerts for informational purposes only – they do not replace regular tire inspections or professional maintenance.

• Not rely solely on TireMatter alerts for vehicle safety – always follow manufacturer recommendations and perform visual checks.

6. Limitation of Liability

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TireMatter AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TireMatter IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TireMatter’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alamance County or Wake County, North Carolina. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
